Tech Talk: Fortune says Berwyn-based TE Connectivity is ‘changing the world’
TE Connectivity, a Swiss tech giant whose U.S. headquarters is situated in Berwyn, is one of 63 global companies that are changing the world, according to Fortune.
The company, which employs about 300 people in Chester County and 78,000 worldwide, designs and manufactures sensors and connectors used in everything from advanced aircraft to cable boxes to medical balloons used in heart surgeries, writes Michelle Caffrey at bizjournals.com.

In making Fortune’s list, it joins more famous concerns like Apple and Toyota in a ranking based on how profit-driven businesses help solve global issues.
This is not the first time TE Connectivity has landed on a best-of list. It was also ranked on Fortune’s Most Admired Companies list, and other rankings based on sustainability, ethical values and employee experience.
