After more than 20 years as one of the region’s most successful and innovative pre-owned car dealerships, Car Vision.com is taking on Mitsubishi as its first new car franchise.

The main dealership location at 2626 Ridge Pike, Norristown, will now be known as Car Vision Mitsubishi.

Car Vision.com has made a major impact on the regional and national automotive market by blazing the trail in sophisticated online marketing strategies, while maintaining a strong service component and physical location(s) to make the car buying experience a better one-on-one human connection.

“We saw an opportunity to enter the new car business and be very successful,” says Owner and CEO Dean Cafiero, pointing out Car Vision’s highly evolved online advertising and lead conversion system gives his company an enormous advantage.

“Our pre-owned car sales business of the last two decades has been driven by intensive pre-qualification,” says Cafiero. “All the questions are covered on www.CarVision.com with photos, videos, vehicle history and pricing for every car in our inventory. By the time the customer arrives at the Car Vision showroom, they are ready to buy, and we want to get them into just the right vehicle.”

The Car Vision showroom and sprawling new and pre-owned lots are staffed by customer service focused representatives trained to assure a positive customer experience.

From a business standpoint, adding the Mitsubishi flag to the Car Vision dealership makes the company a player on a bigger stage.

“For our second month selling Mitsubishi we were the company’s 10th largest volume dealership in America,” says Cafiero. “We also believe we can sell 50 percent more used cars co-branding ourselves with Mitsubishi. The new car dealership also qualifies us for more financing resources as well.”

The timing couldn’t be better for Car Vision. Mitsubishi is suddenly one of the hottest names in the car business. With a 100-year history in Japan and a big presence worldwide for decades, especially in emerging nations with little roadway infrastructure and challenging environments, Mitsubishi Motors has had some notable success in the US market.

Coming back from a period of limited product selection Mitsubishi is aggressively playing its hand of mid-sized and small SUVs and crossovers just at the time when they are the fastest growing segment of the US market.

Add in a compelling value proposition of being lower priced than its competitors and available with a full complement of the latest tech toys and suddenly Mitsubishi is a rising star.

The recently comprehensively revised Mitsubishi Outlander mid-sized 3 row seat SUV loaded with options for $26,000 gets the notable addition of a Plug-in Hybrid EV model for a $7,500 Federal tax credit eligible premium price.

The smaller profile Outlander Sport and the new Eclipse Cross both offer style and convenience in the very competitive $20,000 to $24,000 range. The Eclipse Cross is particularly interesting as it targets a youth market that values amenities, tech and more space for lifestyle gear.

Car Vision CEO Cafiero went on to say that as an accredited new car dealership Car Vision is more trusted even by consumers buying pre-owned vehicles. In addition to its primary location in Trooper, Car Vision has affiliated dealership operations in Philadelphia and Conshohocken.

CarVision.com employs several hundred people in service, sales, administrative and marketing, more than half of them based in the Norristown region.

CarVision.com has also been a good citizen in this area making large contributions to the Elmwood Park Zoo and continuing support of the local Hispanic community through its charity work with Aclamo, an area Hispanic social services organization.
