It’s March and the Madness begins this weekend!

On Sunday, the official bracket for the 2018 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will be released.

MONTCO Today invites you and your Montgomery County co-workers, friends, and family to enter a bracket in our free NCAA Tournament Challenge presented by BB&T.

Each person will be limited to one bracket.

The point system is as follows:

• Round of 64: One point
• Round of 32: Two points
• Sweet 16: Four points
• Elite Eight: Eight points
• Final Four: 16 points
• National Championship: 32 points

The tiebreaker is total points scored in the national championship game.

Bonus points are available in the Round of 64 to those who have the foresight to pick winning underdogs. For example, if you correctly pick a No. 14 seed to beat a No. 3 seed, then you will receive an additional 11 points (14-3=11). The bigger the upset, the more points you get for the pick.

The deadline to enter a bracket is Thursday, March 15 at 12:15 PM.
