Malvern Federal Savings Bank has announced the donation of school supplies to the Maternal and Child Health Consortium of Chester County.

The Maternal and Child Health Consortium of Chester County, a charitable organization that supports the community by providing services to meet emerging needs of families, was the recipient of donations made at Malvern Federal during its Backpack Drive.

From Aug. 1-31, Malvern Federal employees and customers collected new school supplies for children and families in need.

Together, they collected everything from basic school supplies – such as crayons, pencils, colored pencils, scissors, and glue-sticks – as well as other necessary items used in classrooms every day, like backpacks, lunch boxes, and pencil boxes.

Malvern Federal, led by CEO Anthony C. Weagley, focuses on making an impact in the community it serves.

Next month, all branches and the corporate office will be hosting a community food drive for the Chester County Food Bank. Malvern Federal will match your donation by providing a check to the CCFB based on the weight of your donated items.

For more information or to find out how you can participate in the drive, please contact Bronwyn Pait at BPait@MalvernFederal.com.
