King of Prussia’s Recovery Centers of America has opened a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility in Devon, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

This is the drug and alcohol treatment center’s first facility in the Philadelphia area since the company was established two years ago by real estate developer J. Brian O’Neill.

The 204,158-square-foot site currently has 62 inpatient beds, but is planning to expand that to 248 by the middle of next year.

The facility was created in the building that used to house Devon Manor for senior assisted living. Now it employs 120 personnel, including nurses, social workers, therapists, and recovery support specialists.

The newly opened center in Devon will provide patients with treatment programs for drug and alcohol addiction. It will also offer treatment for “co-occurring” behavioral health disorders such as anxiety, trauma, and depression.

Also included in the center’s wide range of services are medically-assisted detoxification and outpatient addiction treatment.

“We are combining world class treatment, the finest team of clinical professionals available, outstanding customer service, and five-star accommodations to provide a unique treatment experience,” said Steve Wicke, CEO of the Devon facility.
