With expansion plans in the works for its campus in Oaks, SEI Investments – in the meantime – is leasing 35,000 square feet in the Chesterbrook Corporate Center, writes Natalie Kostelni for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The company previously leased 59,000 square feet of space in Malvern, but it wasn’t enough to keep up with the pace of SEI’s rapidly growing business.

“Our demand has happened faster than we could plan or build for,” said Greg Gettinger, vice president of global services at SEI.

SEI managed to find move-in-ready space at 1500 Liberty Ridge in Chesterbrook that had been vacated by Vertex.

Two hundred employees will occupy the Chesterbrook space, and between that and Malvern, 600 employees will now work at satellite offices.

SEI inked three-year leases at each location, hoping that would give it enough time to construct additional buildings at its campus in Oaks.
