Keystone Property Group Makes Headway on $100M Development in Conshohocken
After three years of waiting, Keystone Property Group has finally received zoning approval for a $100 million mixed-use project in Conshohocken, writes Natalie Kostelni for Philadelphia Business Journal.
However, the unusually process did not come as a surprise to Keystone. “It’s a very complicated project,” said Rich Gottlieb, Keystone president. “It’s more complicated than anything that has been done in Conshohocken in the last 17 years.”
.
The project, named Sora West, will be situated at the corner of Fayette Street and West Elm Street and will provide a key gateway into the Montgomery County town.
The two-phase project will include turning a historic 1874 firehouse into brew pub, demolishing two existing office buildings and replacing them with two new ones. The development will also have space for restaurants and retail along with a 171 room hotel.
To help with the logistics of the development, the plan includes an eight-level parking garage with around 1,000 spaces. Keystone is also considering adding a multifamily component to the project.
