Two New Entertainment Retailers Coming to Plymouth Meeting Mall
Plymouth Meeting Mall will soon have even more entertainment options as live-action event organizer 5 Wits and indoor cycling venue CYCLEBAR are both opening venues there, writes Suzette Parmley for Philly.com.
CYCLEBAR, which opens on Thursday, will offer visitors various state-of-the-art studio classes spread across its 2,700-square-feet. These will give participants a variety of high-energy workouts in a concert-like atmosphere.
Meanwhile 5 Wits which is coming this fall, will give shoppers the chance to be immersed in realistic challenges that require teamwork and quick thinking to solve. It will occupy the 14,000-square-foot space by the recently opened Legoland Discovery Center.

The new tenants underscore the commitment of the mall’s owner, Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, to keep evolving with consumer habits.
Over the last five years, PREIT has added over 1 million-square-feet of dining, entertainment, health and wellness, fast fashion, and off-price tenants at its malls. This is an increase of around 70 percent to the space it had already committed to non-traditional tenants.
“The historic view of the mall, heavily reliant on apparel and traditional retail, has expired, and a new model is rising,” said Joseph Coradino, CEO of PREIT. “Dining, entertainment, and experiential concepts represent the mall of the future.”
