To help with this, Niche.com has a compiled a list of the best places to make your home in Montgomery County. It was created by analyzing factors such as the average price to purchase or rent a home, family friendliness, public schools, nightlife, and crime.
First on the list is Blue Bell with the highest rating for both public schools and good for families, closely followed by an A in housing and B’s for nightlife and diversity.
The median home value in this area is $407,800. Next on the list is Montgomeryville, with an average home value of $308,000.

Other prime areas across the county include Penn Wynne, West Conshohocken, Upper Providence, Oreland, Narberth, Trooper, Perkiomen Township and Fort Washington.
The average house price in these areas range from $417,300 and $416,700 in Fort Washington and Narberth respectively, to $290,100 for Oreland and $277,400 in Perkiomen Township.
However, all of these areas have one thing in common – they are all great places to live!
