Norristown’s ex-supermodel, Carole Mallory, has lost her defamation suit over a Norman Mailer biography that depicts their relationship as “strictly sexual, according to a staff report from Philly Voice.

According to Mallory, in the 2013 biography, “Normal Mailer: A Double Life,” she is depicted as a “venal harlot” who seduced him. But in her tell-all book, “Loving Mailer,” Mallory describes herself as his muse and creative partner.

Mallory says that her affair with Mailer lasted from 1983 to 1992 while he was married to his sixth wife, Norris Church Mailer. However, the judge dismissed her suit after finding no evidence that either biographer J. Michael Lennon or his publisher acted with malice.
