Matthew Epse and wife Lori. The former CEO of Armstrong World Industries has been chosen to lead Radial, King of Prussia’s e-commerce technology and operations provider.

King of Prussia’s Radial has found its new leader in the former CEO of Armstrong World Industries, Matthew Espe, writes Roger DuPuis for Central Penn Business Journal.

Radial focuses on retailers and brands by providing them with fulfillment and transportation options, intelligent fraud detection, payments, as well as tax systems and personalized customer care services.

“Radial’s exceptional commerce technologies and operational footprint are uniquely able to provide the solutions and experiences retailers and brands need to profitably deliver on customer expectations,” said Espe.

He added that he was looking forward to leading the team at the retail fulfillment and technology firm as it embarks on its next phase of growth.

Espe departed Armstrong World Industries in the spring last year, as the manufacturer spun off its flooring business into a separate Armstrong Flooring unit.  Prior to working for Armstrong, he served as Chairman and CEO of Malvern’s IKON Office Solutions.

Tobias Hartmann, who will stay on as the company’s president, noted that “Matt’s experience will take Radial to its next level of growth so we can continue to enable our clients to compete more efficiently in the increasingly complex retail space.”
