King of Prussia Sisters Helping Create Stunning Celebrity Parties
King of Prussia’s Arrangements Unlimited that was founded by two sisters in the 1970s is now enjoying unprecedented success in planning stunning parties for stars such as Elton John, writes Diane Mastrull for Philly.com.
Sisters Lois Caplan, 68 and Lynne Brownstein, 74 never imagined that their small company that began delivering flowers would grow into a party planning company that handles some of the region’s most prominent party events.
“It’s amazing,” said Caplan, president of the company. “I can’t figure out how we got from there to here.”
The different strengths of the sisters has helped the company grow, as Caplan is more detail-oriented whereas Brownstein, who is the vice president, is more of a risk-taker. This can create problems between them but they always manage to move past them.
“It’s very complicated, but so are all relationships,” noted Caplan.
Karen Fisher, founder of Hope Paige Designs in West Conshohocken, is a loyal customer who used the company to help plan her daughter’s wedding. She praises just how transformative the help of Arrangements Unlimited can be.
“They think out of the box and do really exciting things,” said Fisher.
