Hatboro Welcomes LUHV’s Vegan Eatery

The new LUHV Bistro is located in the storefront of their Hatboro manufacturing plant, at the corner of Montgomery Avenue at 101 N. York Rd.

The Lucci family, which has turned personal tragedy and financial hardship into Hatboro’s successful vegan family business LUHV Food, is opening its own vegan eatery, writes Michael Klein for Philly.com.

The new petite and reasonably priced LUHV Bistro is located in the storefront of their Hatboro manufacturing plant, at the corner of Montgomery Avenue at 101 N. York Rd.

LUHV produces healthy and delicious soups and a sweet-and-spicy black bean, plantain and poblano burger that is already selling at a rate of over 6,000 a month in stores across several states.

The bistro will sell products manufactured at LUHV plant, and add side salads to the menu.

Its minimalist décor featuring an herb wall has a compact menu of nine combinations including offerings such as its “energy soup,” black bean burger, and a lentil burger.

The family plans to use the restaurant for its existing products and as a testing ground for new ideas they are developing for sale in stores. They also hope it will be the model for a vegan fast-food chain.

The new bistro’s opening hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.
