New King of Prussia Town Center Gets Latin Flavor with Paladar
A one-of-a-kind dining experience has set sail from Latin America and is scheduled to arrive at the new King of Prussia Town Center for a Sept. 30 grand opening.
The Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar will be the restaurant chain’s first presence in Pennsylvania, featuring a fresh and exciting menu imported from Central and South America, Cuba, and the Caribbean.
“There really isn’t anything like Paladar in the area, and we are thrilled to bring something new to the table,” Founder and CEO Andy Himmel said in a Philadelphia Business Journal report by Kenneth Hilario. “Our approachable menu invites guests to experience new dishes and flavor profiles without leaving their comfort zones.”
That seven-day-a-week menu showcases “familiar dishes like tacos, empanadas, and guacamole, but also more traditional Latin staples like Cuba’s ropa vieja, Brazil’s feijoada stew, and Mexico’s pork al pastor.” Customers can choose food caught wild or free of antibiotics, hormones, meat, or gluten.
Paladar also aims to treat Montgomery County patrons’ taste buds to 75 of the globe’s favorite rums and specially mixed rum cocktails.
Early adopters can check out the new restaurant’s indoor space for 210 guests, plus a seasonal patio for 140 more during a ribbon-cutting preview Sept. 29 from 6 to 9 PM to benefit Mission Kids.
