United Kingdom-based Instem, which has its U.S. headquarters in Conshohocken, is continuing to grow by making its fifth acquisition in five years with no intention of slowing down, writes Joseph DiStefano for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The leading provider of IT solutions for the worldwide early development healthcare market has purchased France-based Notocord, which focuses on the acquisition and analysis of data in preclinical studies for research for drug manufacturers and hospitals.

“Notocord has a stellar reputation and a high-quality team,” Phil Reason, Instem’s CEO, said about the purchase.

With this transaction, Notocord adds to its already significant customer base with Instem’s drug-development data and compliance IT applications.

“The combined customers of Notocord and Instem will be gaining a real advantage,” said Philippe Zitoun, founder and CEO of Notocord.
