A trio of attorneys from the Lansdale law firm of Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin were recently selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2017.

Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence.

Steven H. Lupin, managing partner, was selected in the area of Commercial Litigation, and J. Edmund Mullin and Carl N. Weiner were selected in the area of Land Use and Zoning Law.

Lupin was named by the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers as the 2012 James P. Fox Trial Lawyer of the Year. He is a past President of the Montgomery Bar Association (2010) and is a past President of the Montgomery Bar Foundation (2012-2015), where he is a life fellow and member of the Stefan and Taxis circles.

Mullin co-chairs the Real Estate and Land Use Department of the firm. Practicing real estate and land use law for more than 40 years, he has established a noted reputation in the areas of municipal and land use law. He represents Fortune 500 companies as well as emerging businesses in industries ranging from oil producers through pharmaceuticals to retail businesses.

Weiner co-chairs the Real Estate Group at Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin. For more than two decades, he has handled an enormous array of real estate law matters for Delaware Valley clients, ranging from zoning and land development to real-estate financing and acquisition.

Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey, in which more than 36,000 leading attorneys cast almost 4.4 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor.

Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
