From a very modest beginning with three employees and a handful of loyal accounts, Harmelin Media has grown into one of the largest independent media services firms in the United States. Media Planning Account Manager

This position is directly responsible for ensuring a successful relationship by delivering a superb client experience. He/she will maintain active client relationships, anticipate needs, and work with partner agencies and other marketing partners. The person will also work with the planning team strategist to issue invoices, and will help forecast and manage budgets, update campaign costs, and assist in providing compliance and stewardship.

The ideal candidate will possess at least eight years of experience in a client service, account management, and/or a planning management role. Managing multiple client contacts and stakeholders is a must. He/she should be a strategic planner and have expertise with media mix optimization software, understand Reach/Frequency, and how they impact communication objectives. The person will also have the ability to collaborate and build inter-agency relationships.

Media Strategist

This position will generate competitive reports utilizing Kantar, manage co-op radio program and national print campaigns, and develop target audience profiles by analyzing MRI. He/she develops and issues status reports, and analyzes sponsorships, media packages, and media-generated opportunities providing client-ready POVs. The person will utilize and interpret in-house research tools, and be responsible for the billing process from beginning to end.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of media experience, and have an assertive personality and the ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time. He/she should have very strong math skills and experience in Kantar, MRI, and Strata. The person should have sound understanding of billing and accounting practices, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Accounts Receivable Administrator

This position will post client payments, process client reconciliations, generate reports as needed, and assist Senior Finance Manager as needed. He/she will maintain daily accuracy of financial spreadsheet, maintain spreadsheets for various clients, and process accounts receivable. The person will also assist with accounts payable and administrative duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business or accounting, and have at least five years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. He/she must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, and have excellent attention to detail. The person will have the demonstrated ability to work individually or in a team environment, and be able to accommodate a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
