King of Prussia’s American Reading Company, an educational-services business, and TerraSol Energies, a SunPower commercial partner based in Glen Mills, announced the completion of a 313-kilowatt, high-efficiency SunPower Helix Roof solar power system at the former’s warehouse.

The American Reading Company is the recipient of the first SunPower Helix system installed by a SunPower dealer. The system is expected to save approximately $2 million over 25 years.

The SunPower Helix Roof product is the world’s first fully-integrated rooftop solar solution for commercial customers. It is a pre-engineered, modular solution that is built to last, maximizes power production, and can be installed almost three times faster than competing technology, enabling customers to scale their solar programs quickly with minimal business disruption.

TerraSol Energies was founded in 2009 by a professional group of Villanova University graduate engineers who are recognized experts in the field of solar energy.
