Ambiance Design Relocates to Blue Bell after Three Years in Fort Washington
After three years in Fort Washington, Ambiance Design is relocating its growing business specializing in custom-window treatments and home décor to Blue Bell, writes Gary Puleo for The Times Herald.
Its new location at 718 DeKalb Pike in Blue Bell is a perfect fit for the business, as it is surrounded by a high-end Italian restaurant, a posh spa, and a state-of-the-art weight loss center. It also gives the firm more space to showcase its products.
“We knew we wanted to be in Blue Bell and that the demographics here could support our type of business,” said Laura Hawley, owner of Ambiance Design and a U.S. Air Force veteran, along with her husband Dan.
“Here, the exposure we get on (Route) 202 is great, and we felt we would be complementary to the other businesses here,” she said.
The move from a small space in Fort Washington corresponds with the business’s designation as a Hunter Douglas-brand gallery, showcasing a variety of shades, blinds, shutters, and motorized window treatments, as well as drapery and wallpaper.
