Human Resources Director

This position will assess, understand, and focus on human resources details/data (e.g., staffing, application flow, turnover, Workers’ Compensation, safety, etc.) and develop/implement action plans/best practices. He/she will have oversight of community relations programs, as well as diversity outreach programs. The person will also oversee the recruiting and staffing functions.

The ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, and have five to ten years of HR experience within the food industry. He/she will possess a strong understanding of all HR-related function. Human Resources Coordinator

This position maintains records as required, handles employee attendance records and generate attendance reports, and enters new hires in Human Resources System. He/she processes and requests sick pay and vacations slips, and responds in a timely manner to employee problems, questions, and concerns. The person will also attend to general-office duties like handling phone calls and filing.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a self-starter, and demonstrate effective people skills. He/she will be able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment. Computer skills and a knowledge of basic office software is necessary.

Human Resources Manager

This position is responsible for labor relations with the local UFCW, administration of the collective bargaining agreement, and the grievance process. He/she will provide facility supervision with advice and counsel on personnel issues, as well as administer unemployment claims and attend unemployment hearings. The person will ensure regulatory compliance with ADA, FMLA, EEOC, etc., and will propose, publish, and administer personnel policies.

The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in Human Resources, and have strong communication and public speaking skills. He/she will have analytical/problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.
