Harcum College, an independent, coeducational, fully accredited, residential college, offers associate degrees in allied health, business and social science, as well as certificates and a variety of continuing studies programs on its Bryn Mawr Campus. Founded in 1915 by Edith Hatcher Harcum and Octavius Harcum, it was the first college in Pennsylvania chartered by the state to offer the associate degree.

Director of Foundations and Grants

The Director of Foundations and Grants is charged with fundraising from foundations, corporate foundations, certain corporate entities, and government agencies. The Director of Foundations and Grants assists college leadership and faculty members in planning strategic fundraising approaches for projects and initiatives, oversees appropriate stewardship, and provides leadership for the College’s Grants Steering Committee.

A Bachelor’s degree with a preference for a Master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years in development within higher education are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills together with the ability to work independently and interactively; the ability to set priorities and consistently meet deadlines is a plus.

Director of the Student Health Center

The Director of the Student Health Center is responsible for all medical care and medical emergencies when the Student Health Center is open. The Director provides direct patient care, develop wellness programs, manage compliance with College policy on new student physicals and student immunization records, develop and manage departmental budget.

A BSN in Nursing from an accredited college or university along with a current license in PA as an RN is preferred. One or more years in emergency care, clinic care, acute medicine, or school health and experience in college health setting preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years clinical experience and experience counseling and teaching.

IT Administrator

Harcum College seeks an IT Administrator with a thorough understanding of Cisco IOS and experience working with Cisco Core Switches, ASA Firewalls, and FireSight Web Filtering devices. Responsibilities for this position include designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.

The qualified candidate for this position should have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and strong communication and customer service skills. Experience with Windows 2008 and 2012 operating systems and knowledge of SQL is a plus.
