Director of Clinical Statistics

This position will provide industry-leading statistical support and leadership in support of the Metabolic Pathways and Cardiovascular clinical development organization. He/she will effectively communicate to matrix team members, putting information into context. The person will also proactively provide strategic input in clinical development programs and facilitate communication among fellow staff members.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in statistics or a related field, with minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience in the areas of design, execution, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials. He/she should have strong statistical capabilities, including the proven ability to provide statistical solutions to complex problems. The person should also have excellent communications skills with the demonstrated ability to influence senior colleagues both within and outside the pharmaceutical industry.

Clinical Program Lead

This position provides operational support to clinical studies, which evaluate a range of new chemical entities and new formulations in a wide variety of patient populations to support a broad range of indications. Compound-aligned global teams focus on the development of medicines from Proof of Concept through to drug submission. He/she contributes to the end-to-end delivery of clinical development activities which ensure consistency with the clinical development strategy for regulatory approvals, reimbursable medicines, and successful lifecycle management for the Liver Unit.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in science or a health-related field, with at least eight years of clinical development experience. He/she should have a background in clinical development sciences at a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or other medical environment with demonstrated leadership experience. Strong scientific/therapeutic expertise in liver diseases is preferred.

Process Analytical and Control Specialist

This position’s accountabilities include the identification, proof of concept, and delivery of measurement methodologies to control critical process parameters during the production of particles suitable for inhalation. He/she will design control algorithms and strategies, integrated with the measurement techniques, to ensure that parameters are well controlled. The person will also transfer and implement measurement methods and control algorithms to a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry/ Control Engineering or a related discipline. He/she should have proven expertise of PAT method development and emerging PAT technologies. The person should also have experience of pharmaceutical product development, with a preference for inhaled product development.
