Division Controller

This position will manage quarter-end closing processes and procedures, and prepare GAAP financial statements. Responsibilities include month-end/quarter-end/year-end reporting and analysis, project budgeting, and variance analysis. He/she will maintain long-term GAAP and cash flow forecasts, working hand in hand with finance and asset management team. The person will monitor joint venture agreements, loan agreements, and management agreements.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. (A CPA is preferred.) He/she should have homebuilding, real estate development, or financial industry background with Project Finance/Investment Management/Asset Management experience. The person should have at least six years of professional hands-on accounting experience, including supervisory experience.

Financial Analyst

This position will support pursuit of acquisition, investment, and loan origination opportunities by engaging in sophisticated financial modeling, due diligence, research, and preparation of investment memos and presentations. He/she will develop and maintain financial models for use in underwriting potential investments, and tracking existing portfolio holdings. The person will assist in transaction sourcing, negotiations, and closing.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in finance or a business-related field. He/she should have up to three years of experience in real estate investment banking, principal investment, corporate finance, or commercial banking, with a focus on real estate analysis, valuation, due diligence, capital markets, and research.

Acquisition Manager

This position will have the primary responsibility of underwriting and valuing residential land and other residential real estate, as well as conducting comprehensive market analysis and research. Additionally, he/she will provide support for due diligence related to investments, as well as assist in the search of new investment opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or Civil Engineering. He/she should have two to five years of experience in residential real estate analysis or underwriting, including residential real estate valuations, due diligence, and market research. Financial modeling skills/proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
