Business Office Director

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and influencing department activities and delivery of business services, while maintaining continuous quality improvement. He/she maintains operation within budgetary parameters, and effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining standard of professional business service. The person is accountable to the CFO for the day-to-day management of personnel, including staffing, timekeeping, employee evaluations, counseling interviewing, and selection of staff within established guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, and have three to five years of experience in health care business. He/she must be able to demonstrate understanding of and ability to interpret third-party payer principles and terms and COBRA laws. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Controller

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and influencing department activities and assuring financial records are maintained following generally accepted accounting standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or closely related field, and have five years of healthcare financial management experience. Current CPA is preferred. He/she must have extensive knowledge of healthcare accounting practices and principles, and a familiarity with computer accounting programs.

Community Liaison

This position coordinates the logistics of admission to the Senior Behavioral Health Unit (SBHU). He/she facilitates education, intervention, and continuity of care with providers, families, and caretakers in the community. The person provides assessment and support for those presenting behavioral health needs in the community and within the health system services.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. He/she should have three years of experience in Behavioral Health, preferably in both med-surg and behavior health.
