Table Tap LLC introduced the first entirely self-serve taproom at the Oz. Tap House in Austin, Texas. Grabbing a cold one just became a lot more entertaining in Austin.

Table Tap is the the first company in the world to introduce self-service beverage dispensing systems. Pour Your Own Beer (P.Y.O.B.) is the tagline and primary focus of Table Tap LLC. The flagship systems of the company, TableTender® (table taps) and WallTender™ (beer walls) provide data in real-time when dispensing beverages. The systems collect data such as who pours what, when and where the beverage is poured, and also the amount poured.

The founders of Table Tap and Oz. Tap House worked very closely with state legislators on the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code to allow the existence of self-pour establishments in the state of Texas. The Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission submitted a new interpretation of the Alcoholic Beverage Code.

Table Tap’s WallTender™ system offers 40 self-pour taps, giving customers an interactive and entertaining drinking experience. Each of the 40 taps has an interactive LCD screen that enables customers to find information on all the featured brews, and pour anywhere from one to 16 ounces of the beer they choose. The full technology allows customers to order and pay for not only beer, but also wine, sodas, and creative menu offerings.

The Oz. Tap House will feature a Table Tap app called PourTender™. PourTender™ lets bar patrons track their pour history and rate the beers they like best or want to avoid. The app also gives customers an easy way to pay without waiting in line.
