Richard Wesselt, founder and principal of Wesselt Capital Group, announced the opening of Family Generational Wealth Model, a new learning center offering an introduction to building a financial plan. The learning center is geared toward young adults who are college age or in the early stages of their careers.

The 18-seat learning center will offer monthly seminars at Wesselt Capital Group headquarters, 3441 Germantown Pike in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Seminars will be offered initially on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning on June 11, to families of Wesselt Capital Group clients as well as young adults from throughout Montgomery County and the Greater Philadelphia area.

“There is a tremendous need to educate young people about money at the youngest age possible on topics like saving, investing and protection,” Wesselt said. “One of the greatest ways to assist someone with financial planning is through education, and we’re excited to officially open our new learning center.”

According to Wesselt, the company began offering focus groups nearly 20 years ago and later, informal educational sessions for family members of clients. When the company’s new office was constructed in 2015, it included an 18-seat facility to expand these education sessions.

Seminars will be conducted by Richard Wesselt and his staff and cover a wide range of financial issues, including the importance of savings, pros and cons of different types of life insurance, and planning tools necessary to build a sound financial plan to secure one’s future.
