Ardent Credit Union was recently honored by The Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) in Austin, Texas, with the Gold Award for Branch Merchandising and the Silver Award for Logo Design.

MAC is composed of marketers, for marketers, by marketers, and is the only association run 100 percent by a volunteer board of directors.

The MAC Awards have been recognizing the best-of-the-best in credit union marketing achievements since 1986.

For the category of Branch Merchandising (assets $501 million-$999 million), Ardent earned the Gold Award for its program at its new Oaks location. With its new name and brand, Ardent wanted to extend the brand design into a new branch location to create greater consistency and market awareness.

“Our team is very proud of all of the positive strides that we have taken through the course of our rebranding, and we are honored to be recognized for our efforts so soon after our rebrand launch,” said Rob Werner, Ardent Credit Union President/CEO.

“This month represents our first anniversary as Ardent Credit Union. It truly is a testament to why grit makes great.”

For the category of Logo Design (assets $501 million-$999 million), Ardent earned the Silver Award for its new logo created during its rebrand. The overall goal of the renaming and development of the logo was to best position the credit union for continued growth and success.
