Limerick Town Center LLC, a Limerick-based developer, has plans to repurpose the abandoned Publicker whiskey distillery at the Linfield Industrial Park in Linfield, writes Holly Herman for Patch.

The former distillery, which includes multiple buildings, will be demolished, and two warehouses will be built in its place. Together the warehouses will offer 1.9 million square feet of space.

The new plan also includes 1,438 parking spaces, 481 loading docks, and 424 trailer parking spaces.

Dan Kerr, the township manager, said that township officials have discussed safety and demolition procedures with the developer and police are patrolling the area to ensure that no trespassers are on the property.
