Pottstown is home to one of ten hidden muscle car and hot rod garages of the super-rich that took amazing dedication over years and in some cases decades to build to help preserve some of the world’s most prized cars, writes Johnny Hunkins for Hot Rod.

The owner of the Pottstown garage is Matt Murray who decided to buy his home primarily based on what he envisioned in what was advertised as an oversized three-car garage. However, it turned out to be a former airplane hangar.

“I decided to buy the house immediately after seeing the shop in person and worried about the house secondary,” said Murray.

After he snatched the 1930s house off the market, he named the shop “IronTrap Garage” and proceeded to deck it out with a stunning collection of both street rods and other hot-rodding memorabilia from the 1950s.

“I’ve managed to fill it with cars, tools, and decorations that make it feel like it has been a hot rod shop since it was built,” said Murray.
