Port Richmond native Paul Richard Green, founder of the Paul Green’s School of Rock Music in Philadelphia, knew he had found the woman of his dreams in Kimberly Lauren France after their first date, writes Tammy LaGorce for The New York Times.

The couple met on Tinder in 2021 and instead of getting to know each other through the app, they instead decided to meet in person for a date – but only after they had googled each other. By the end of the date, they were exclusive, at Green’s behest.

“After dating so many commitment-phobic, ghosting men on the apps, I felt like I had stepped into a different dimension on the space-time continuum,” recalled France, founding editor of the Condé Nast shopping magazine Lucky.

Within three days, they were living together. It took them only three weeks for both to realize they wanted to get married.

After living together for two years, they tied the knot at France’s mother’s Fifth Avenue apartment in Manhattan on April 15.

“We both wanted something really chill,” said France.
