Megyn Kelly, a former anchor for FOX News and NBC News, is no stranger to controversy. Throughout most of her career, she has always had one person she could count on for full support: husband Douglas Brunt. Varnika Srivastava profiled the couple for Meaww.

Brunt, who is 52 years old, is a Haverford School graduate who later attended Duke University. He and Kelly married in 2008 and have been together ever since.

They have three children, sons Edward Yates and Thatcher Bray and daughter Yardley Evans.

Brunt served as CEO and president of the Detroit cybersecurity company Authentium until 2011.

He then sold the business to Commtouch and devoted his time to writing. His debut novel, Ghosts of Manhattan, was on the list of New York Times bestsellers in 2013.

His other works include The Means, published in 2014, and Trophy Son, published in 2017.

Brunt was portrayed by Mark Duplass in the 2019 movie Bombshell, which depicts the sexual harassment scandal of FOX News CEO, Roger Ailes, about which Kelly has spoken openly.
