Lower Merion Township is ranked as the second-best place to live for remote workers. The metrics for this list, compiled by Money.com, were:

  • Cost of living
  • Quality of education
  • Access to necessities
  • Living space
  • Internet connectivity

The township had the highest rate of pre-pandemic remote workers on the list, reported Money‘s Prachi Bhardwaj.

It was also ranked highly for its family-friendly community, proximity to colleges, and wealth of vibrant local businesses like Hymie’s Deli.

Lower Merion also earned its accolades for being within a 15-mile radius to over 200 museums.

The recognition from Money is not the only national accolade the township has earned. Money also ranked it as the third best place to retire.
