American Community Journals (ACJ) — the parent company of VISTA Today, DELCO Today, MONTCO Today, and BUCKSCO Today — is looking to hire several VP of Development to support our Chester, Delaware, Bucks, and Montgomery County platforms.

We are looking for a dynamic, focused, results-oriented individual who can get excited by the prospect of being on a team focused on sharing stories of cool things happening down the street and around the corner.

By sharing the stories of local business and community leaders, entrepreneurs, community heroes, and volunteers, we are making a positive and sustainable difference in each county we serve and across the Delaware Valley.

We are seeking an energetic, determined, and organized person for this position. In this role, you will network with senior-level executives to understand what their goals are for 2022 and beyond. Then, you would help them understand how to get their stories into the news via our platforms.

Candidates should possess the following expertise and experience:

• Established community ties and links to local business, civic, community, and education leaders.
• Comfortable working with leaders of any level, from CEOs and SVPs of marketing to county commissioners.
• A track record of successful media sales.
• An understanding of the professional sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, presentation, and proposal generation.
