The menu is full of comfort food, including several bacon-topped burgers. The Umami Burger is topped with bacon, mushrooms, provolone cheese, a fried egg, roasted garlic aioli, lettuce, and tomato. The Southern Burger, has bacon too, along with bbq sauce, cheddar cheese, and two onion rings.

Duck Donuts has two menu items that serve as savory and sweet nods to everyone’s favorite breakfast food. The daring Maple Bacon donut is a fan favorite thanks to the maple icing and bacon sprinkled on top.

The Maple Bacon Milkshake is a vanilla shake topped with whipped cream, drizzled with salted caramel, and finished with a pinch of the good stuff.

And for an over-the-top fix, the milkshake can be garnished with the donut. Locations include 220 Plaza Drive in Collegeville and in the King of Prussia Town Center at 201 Main Street.

With crispy, salty, and sweet bacon on restaurant menus throughout the region, you don’t have to limit your consumption to National Bacon Day. You can celebrate bacon at every meal, every day.

A Taste of Britain, a cozy cafe serving afternoon tea, offers a taste of bacon in its Warm Goat Cheese Salad and in a sandwich called The Old Fashioned. The salad starts with mixed greens topped with crispy warm goat cheese, a red-wine-poached pear, toasted almonds, and bacon. The sandwich is a pleasing combination of turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato with English Red Leicester cheese on a toasted pumpernickel-rye swirl bread.

You can also choose to add bacon to the apple and brie panini.
