Chestnut Hill College offers four undergraduate degree programs within the University Center Partnership

Since 2010, Chestnut Hill College has been a member of Montgomery County Community College’s University Center Partnership Program. This program provides students the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree at the community college

Chestnut Hill College’s Accelerated Adult Degree Program is carefully designed to support adult students looking to begin or complete a bachelor’s degree.

Chestnut Hill College offers four undergraduate degree programs within the University Center Partnership: Business Communications, Human Services, Liberal Studies, and Social Gerontology. In addition, Chestnut Hill College offers a combined B.S. degree in Human Services/M.S. degree in Human Services Management.

Students attend classes in the evenings and courses are offered in an 8-week format. Most courses are face-to-face, but some are offered in a hybrid or online format.

Students may also attend classes at MCCC’s Blue Bell campus or at Chestnut Hill College’s main campus. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Spring courses will be offered remotely.

“A student receives individualized advisement, taking into account the student’s needs, and each student is given a degree audit,” says Chestnut Hill College’s Off-Site Program Coordinator, Catherine Kushnerick.

“The degree audit is an educational plan that details the courses needed to complete the bachelor’s degree, credits that transferred in, and a projected graduation date. The program is flexible to meet a student’s needs.”

Flexibility is important and students can enter the program in the Fall, Spring or Summer semesters and can manage time away, if needed. They can attend on a part-time or a full-time basis.

A part-time student takes one course every 8 weeks, and a full-time student takes two courses every 8 weeks.

Students may transfer up to 75 credits to CHC to complete a bachelor’s degree.  Qualified students may also be eligible for a tuition discount.

Catherine adds, “I really enjoy working with our students. They balance work, school and life.  Supporting them through their journey and seeing them accomplish their dreams is very rewarding.”
