Montgomery County May 28th COVID-19 Update

Based on the information found on state and county’s COVID-19 website and the commissioner’s Wednesday briefing, here is a snapshot of the spread of coronavirus across Montgomery County, the Delaware Valley, and Pennsylvania.

Since Tuesday’s update, 142 new COVID-19 positive cases and 66 deaths were reported in Montgomery County.

The 66 new deaths, all of which were recorded in the period between April 10th and May 25th, bring Montgomery County’s COVID-19 death toll to 662 individuals.

The new positive cases bring the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 6,688 countywide, 3,495 of which are females, 3,148 are males.

The average age of individuals with COVID-19 across the county is 55.21 years-old with the youngest patient being a 1-month-old baby and a 110-year-old Abington man, the oldest.
