Tech Talk: Apple rolls out a barrel of new products

Tech giant Apple will introduce its latest line of products Wednesday in Cupertino, California.

Three new models of the iPhone are expected to be unveiled, and the Apple Watch is set for its first redesign since it was unveiled four years ago, writes Tim Bradshaw at bizjournals.com.

Analysts are predicting the “standard” 5.8-inch iPhone XS will cost from $899 to $949, while the new 6.5-inch model will sell for $999 to $1,099.

“Gather round,” the tagline for this year’s event, seems to reference the circular architecture of the company’s Apple Park headquarters and its Steve Jobs Theater, where Wednesday’s event will take place. Taken less literally, it might also be a reference to the company’s “ecosystem” of interconnected products.
