Please meet our new publisher and owner, Stan Huskey.
You may very well already know him since he spent the past 20-plus years writing and editing stories in Montgomery County for The Times Herald and Digital First Media.
This past February, Huskey retired from Digital First Media and took his company, CuttingBoard Consulting, out to Elmwood Park Zoo, where he shares his expertise in government affairs, public relations and marketing, helping the zoo with its impressive expansion plans. Huskey will continue consulting for the zoo.
American Community Journals, parent company of MONTCO.Today, as well as sister publications in Chester County (VISTA.Today) and Delaware County (DELCO.Today), is led by owner and founder Ken Knickerbocker.
A lifelong resident of the Delaware Valley and current events junkie, Knickerbocker launched VISTA Today in November 2014 to share positive, upbeat stories about Chester County’s daily economic, community and cultural developments.
Like VISTA, MONTCO.Today is a daily journal dedicated to the Montgomery County business community, telling success stories about companies you most likely do business with, or come in contact with, along with stories of individual success and stories that are just fun to read.
Huskey is president of CuttingBoard Consulting, a company he founded in 2013, president of the Montgomery County Citizens Advisory Council and treasurer of the Greater Norristown Society for the Arts. He has served on numerous boards throughout the county. He lives in West Norriton with his wife, Sue.
He was editor of The Times Herald from 2002 until February 2017. He was senior editor for Digital First Media’s Philadelphia cluster from 2011 until February 2017. He began his career at the Daily Local News in West Chester after studying journalism at the University of North Texas.
