Ursinus College Among Top 20 Best State Colleges by Salary Potential

Ursinus College is the highest placed Montgomery County school according to PayScale’s Best Colleges in Pennsylvania by Salary Potential ranking.

Ursinus College is the top Montgomery County educational institute for career earnings according to the recent nationwide ranking of the Best Colleges in Pennsylvania by Salary Potential from PayScale.

The ranking was compiled using several criteria, including early career pay, mid-career pay, and job meaning to the employee.  The survey only included schools that have a substantial number of graduates working for civilian employers across the country.

The Collegeville liberal arts private school came in 20th overall with $50,200 early career pay which nearly doubles by mid-career to $99,400. In addition, 34 percent of Ursinus graduates believe their job makes the world a better place, which helped push the college higher on the list.

Next on the list is Bryn Mawr College, which placed 30th with $50,200 early and $89,900 mid-career pay, as well as 53 percent who have a high appreciation for their job.

Rosemont College follows at 59 with $44,500 early career and $81,000 mid-career pay, with Arcadia University rounding off the Montgomery County schools on the list at 69 with $42,600 and $78,800 respectively.
