Second Annual CityAve Future Cast Unveils Exciting New Projects Coming to the District

Several projects are planned for the Lower Merion side of City Line Avenue as well, including plans to construct apartment buildings at 335 Righters Ferry Road, 150 Monument Drive, and 87 units in the parking lot at the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center.

The second annual CityAve Future Cast has unveiled several new and exciting projects currently in the works for the Montgomery County and City of Philadelphia district, writes Richard Ilgenfritz for Mainline Media News.

One of the first projects was announced by Bernie Prazenica, board chairman for the City Avenue District and president and general manager of 6ABC.

He said that the District is moving forward with the replacement of the current signal system with traffic adaptive signals that are the cutting-edge in signal technology.

“Since our first Future cast a year ago we’ve seen nothing but progress,” said president and CEO of the City Avenue District, Terry Foley.

Several projects are planned for the Lower Merion side as well, including plans to construct apartment buildings at 335 Righters Ferry Road, 150 Monument Drive, and 87 units in the parking lot at the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center.

Another apartment project is also planned for development at 10 Union Avenue.

“We are also looking forward to some exciting new development on Bala Avenue this year coming up,” said Foley.
