Software Developer – Order Management
The Order Management team is responsible for developing and maintaining equity trading tools. Developers on this team work closely with traders to gather requirements, extend functionality, and build new tools for trade order execution. In this role, you will own your projects from requirements to maintenance and beyond. Beyond development, you will propose and investigate new technologies as the company revamps its toolset every two to three years.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline. He/she will have at least three years of progressive experience developing software applications using an object oriented language. The person will also have three years of recent, hands-on experience with the .NET, C++, or Python technologies.

This position is responsible for hiring top-tier talent for the company’s technology infrastructure organization. He/she will help drive the recruiting process by identifying and interviewing qualified candidates, and maintaining strong relationships with those candidates as they move through the hiring process. SIG is looking for someone who is smart, resourceful, collaborative, and able to thrive in its informal but dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of professional or intern experience as an administrative assistant, or experience in an event planning, coordination, or similar role. He/she will have the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills are essential, as is the ability to take initiative, creatively solve, and present good solutions to problems.

Operations Analyst Program
The OA Program is a rotational development program that offers a broad and in-depth exposure to business operations at SIG, and will prepare you for a position that immediately impacts the business. Operations Analysts at SIG are responsible for maximizing efficiency of processes across the firm, as well as supporting all daily trading operations.
Throughout the program, you will be mentored by senior members of SIG’s operations team who will work with you to guide your development process. At the end of your rotations, you will be expected to leverage your diverse skill set and knowledge of SIG’s business to maximize your impact as an Operations Analyst. You will be placed in a role that best aligns with your skills, interests, and SIG’s business needs.
Ideal candidates for these positions will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have strong interest in math, technology, and the financial industry. He/she should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access. Experience with VBA or SQL is preferred.
