Administrative Support Coordinator

This position provides lead support to the Office of the Chancellor at Penn State Abington. He/she performs non-routine and confidential administrative duties and proxy responsibilities as authorized in the absence of the Chancellor. Typical duties include scheduling meetings, appointments, and special events; coordinating calendars; overseeing the coordination of special projects; organizing and maintaining information; and overseeing budgetary expenditures.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree, and have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and analytical skills centered on data-driven decision making with the demonstrated ability to implement solutions with attention to detail. Candidate must have supervisory skills with a commitment to fostering diversity and equal opportunity and possess the ability to demonstrate confidence, credibility, fairness, and good judgment.

Proposal Specialist

This position supports corporate and foundation program administration including preparing, assembling and submitting proposals; preparing, reviewing and analyzing budgets; and coordinating with appropriate personnel to prepare, submit and report proposal requirements. He/she will assist in the identification of foundation funding opportunities for the college, and work with the chancellor and director of development to create relationships with foundation program officers.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, and have five years of related experience.

Constituent Programming and Events Officer

This position develops, implements, executes, and maintains development and/or alumni events and related services. He/she will supervise the planning, implementation, marketing, coordinating and evaluating development and alumni programs and events such as receptions, dinners, groundbreakings, and tailgates. The person will maintain liaison with appropriate staff and executives to strengthen existing alumni and donor relationship, and will also work with committees and boards to plan and implement activities and events.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have four years of related experience.
