ComForCare Home Care of Montgomery County invites you to join in on its free Facebook Live event Thursday, Aug. 27 from 3:00 to 3:20 PM.

The Facebook Live event offers practical dementia care techniques and challenging communication tips for family caregivers.

“Research has found that family caregivers are at risk for depression and well being when they care for a loved one,” said Cassandra Poland, owner of ComForCare Home Care of Montgomery County.

“ComForCare Home Care of Montgomery County wants to help by being a resource that offers tools and techniques to assist the family caregiver with finding joy in the journey of providing care.”

ComForCare created DementiaWise, a comprehensive program recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association that specially trains caregivers with the tools necessary to help create better days for aging loved ones with dementia.
