Developers recently presented a concept for a 25-story apartment building with retail and restaurants to the West Conshohocken’s Borough Council, writes Kevin Tierney for More Than The Curve.

Michael Sloane and Chris Magarity, owners of WestSide Bar & Grill and Catch 101 in West Conshohocken and Jasper’s Backyard in Conshohocken, and Korman Properties, wanted to gauge the council and public’s interest in the mixed-use building concept that would include ground floor retail, several floors of parking, 258 apartments, and a rooftop restaurant.

The apartments would be a mix of studios, one bedroom, and two bedrooms.

The plans would also include a park to be constructed adjacent to the building where there is currently a parking lot for the borough hall.

Some of the issues raised during the meeting included concerns over the height of the building and how the spaces in the parking garage would be allocated.

No application has been submitted yet.
