It’s a Chamber Concert for All Ages From the Delaware County Symphony Orchestra

Delaware County Symphony performed June 21 at Rose Tree Park as part of the county’s summer concert series.

A Delaware County Chamber Concert for All from the Delaware County Symphony takes place April 14 at Neumann University.

The fun and family-friendly performance will feature ragtime music and a symphony for toys.

The concert takes place at 3 PM in Neumann University’s Meagher Theatre.

Guest conductor Dr. Roberta Winemiller.

With guest conductor, Dr. Roberta Winemiller, the Delaware County Symphony Chamber Ensemble will perform The Toy Symphony and a selection of ragtime arrangements, from 1912, colloquially known as the Red Back Book.

Also performing is Maxwell Brown, a finalist from the DCS Youth Concerto Competition. He will play Carmen Fantasy, Op. 25 by Pablo de Sarasate on violin.

The Delaware County Symphony is a community orchestra created in 1971 that is dedicated to providing outstanding musical experiences for residents of the Delaware County area.

The Delaware County Symphony is a charter member of the Arts Guild at Neumann University, formed in 1991 to enhance the cultural programming available to the Delaware Valley community.
