Sunshine Foundation, a nonprofit that grants dreams to chronically ill, terminally ill and children who suffer from trauma age 3-18, has been selected as a beneficiary of the GIANT Bags 4 My Cause Program for the month of March.

The GIANT Bags 4 My Cause Program, which launched in February 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities shoppers live and work in. The program features the reusable Bags 4 My Cause Bag with a special tag attached to it that allows customers to direct a donation to a nonprofit of their choice upon purchase.

Sunshine Foundation was selected as the March beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the GIANT located at Giant Food Store 315 York Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Sunshine Foundation will receive a $1 donation every time the reusable Bags 4 My Cause Bag is purchased at this location during March, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

Sunshine Foundation’s sole purpose is to answer the dreams of chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children, age three through eighteen whose families cannot fulfill their dream requests due to the financial strain that the child’s illness may cause.
