February is the month of love, and the Montgomery County Association of REALTORS (MCAR) is celebrating with its first-ever “I Love My Pet” photo contest, with all proceeds benefiting a local nonprofit social service organization.

Participants may submit photos now through 5 p.m. EST on February 21 at https://my.360photocontest.com/mcarpet. Cost is $20 per entry. Categories include: Best Dressed; Cutest; Silliest; Ugliest; Unique.

One winner from each of the five categories will receive a $100 gift card to Amazon, PetSmart, or the groomer of their choice. The photo with the highest total number of votes will be named “Best In Show” and will receive a $250 gift card to Amazon, PetSmart, or the groomer of their choice.

Voting is open now through 5 p.m. EST on February 28. Cost is $5 per vote. Each vote will be entered into a voter sweepstakes raffle. A winner will be selected at random and will receive a $100 gift card to Amazon, PetSmart, or the groomer of their choice. Winners will be announced on March 1.

“Our ‘I Love My Pet’ photo contest is intended to be a fun event for our members and the community we serve,” said Richard Strahm, president, MCAR.

Proceeds from MCAR’s “I Love My Pet” photo contest will benefit Family Services of Montgomery County, a nonprofit social service organization serving children, seniors and families in Montgomery County.

MCAR has a long-standing tradition of giving back to the community where its members live and work. Over the years, MCAR has donated thousands of dollars and time to local nonprofit organizations.

“Family Services is a natural fit for MCAR’s charitable endeavors,” said Gail Fusco, chief executive officer, MCAR. “Our members are proud community residents, employers and employees and have a vested interest in providing time and resources to agencies that enhance the Montgomery County community.”
