Chris Vacante has barbering in his blood.

After working in his father’s and uncle’s barber shop in East Norriton for more than 15 years, Chris decided it was time to take his clippers and cut out on his own.

He opened his eponymous parlor at the corner of Main Street and Rose Avenue in West Norriton in January of 2017, with a bit of trepidation.

“I never thought I would leave, it was a huge stepping stone and also a huge fear to start my own venture, but it turned out to be a good step,” Vacante said. Thank you to my family friends and loyal customers for your continuous love and support.”

Vacante’s in West Norriton (2432 West Main St.) is old school, in a good way.  You walk in the front door, sit down, and wait your turn. But it is also keeping up with the times. There’s always sports on the big screen and a cold beverage waiting for their regular customers. They also handle your mustache or beard, and have plenty of booster seats to take care of the little tykes.

Check out their website at https://www.vacantesstyleparlor.com/ for hours of operation.

To make an appointment call (484) 684-6463 or just stop in, take a seat, and wait your turn.
