“Main Line Health is dedicated to offering fair and equitable compensation to our employees,” says Jack Lynch, President & CEO, Main Line Health. “We are proud to join many of our industry peers across the region in providing this pay increase to our staff. Every employee across the System has a critical role within the organization, and this helps us to demonstrate how much we value what each member of the team brings to the overall patient experience. This increase in pay aligns with our mission of improving the quality of life in the communities we serve.”

Pennsylvania’s last minimum wage increase was in 2009, setting the current rate at $7.25 an hour. While Main Line Health has always offered competitive wages, the decision was made to increase minimum wage to $15 an hour Systemwide. Additionally, increases were awarded to employees who were already earning salaries near $15 an hour to ensure internal equity.

“We are committed to being an employer of choice in our region, and continually review market data to ensure we are offering competitive wages,” says Paul Yakulis, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Main Line Health. “Our goal is attract and retain top talent, and we believe that this will help us to continue to do so across Main Line Health.”
