Sure, there’s a little snow on the ground in Montco, but guess what?

Pitchers and catchers report in about a month from today!

So it’s time to start thinking about where your young Steve Carlton will be training this season.

Athletes Academy Training Facility(AATF)/Athletes Academy Canes is proud to announce a merger with Miller Baseball (M24). Athletes Academy Canes will continue competing in youth tournaments in the 9U to 14U age groups, while the “M24 Canes” will serve as collegiate showcase team approach for ages 15U to 18U, according to a press release.

Athletes Academy Canes, based just 20 miles west of center city Philadelphia in East Norriton Township, Montgomery County, has experienced tremendous growth and success early in their existence with their youth teams. A partnership with Miller Baseball is fitting given M24’s track record with the older players.

Co-founded in 2015 by former Cleveland Indians 1stround pick and current head baseball coach at La Salle University, David Miller, and William Penn Charter School head baseball coach, Justin Hanley, Miller Baseball (http://www.millerbaseball.com) focuses on player development and college recruitment for high school players in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

“We are thrilled to merge with Miller Baseball,” says Cherifa Howarth, Owner of Athletes Academy Training Facility. “David, Justin and their staff bring a wealth of baseball knowledge to our facility.”

“AATF brings more than just baseball to our organization,” says Justin Hanley, “the speed, strength and agility training they offer is nothing like I have seen at other baseball facilities. Everything is under one roof.”
